Google Nexus 7

I bought the Google Nexus 7 on impulse today, while I still had my ASUS Transformer TF101.  I had to admit that there weren't many customised apps and functions on the Nexus 7 as compared to the Transformer.  Also, I could not restore my Angry Birds backups because the Nexus 7 was running Android 4.1, which was not supported by those Angry Birds backup apps.

Nevertheless, the tablet itself looked cool, and it worked fast enough.  Here's my unpacking of the Nexus 7:

Sweeeeet!

Game Dev Story

Over the span of one week, I had been playing the Android game called Game Dev Story on my ASUS Transformer. It was the only other Android game I completed besides Captain America.

This was basically a sim game about developing games. I started out in a small office and a handful of staff:

Then moved to a bigger office:

Then moved to an even bigger office:

Where the fun begun with a long queue of fans waiting for our game:

And scored full points for magazine review:

And won 5 Grand Prizes from Year 14 to Year 18:

And hired 8 top Hackers:

With a high number of people visiting our Gamedex booth:

And ended with these statistics:

Well, now then I have completed this game, it was time to get back to reality...

What the F#@K browser?

I used my ASUS EeePad Transformer today to access the website www.whatbrowser.org and saw this:

Then I realised from various sources that it is because the stock browser in the EeePad uses the same webkit as Safari. WTF? DUH!?

HTC Evo 3D and ASUS EeePad Slider

4 months after I bought the HTC Incredible S, the company decided to piss me off by launching a phone that can take 3D photos and display 3D videos without the need for 3D glasses today! It is called HTC Evo 3D:

And 2 months after I bought the ASUS EeePad Transformer, the company decided to piss me off by announcing a tablet that has a built-in keyboard that slides out will be launched in September this year! It is called ASUS EeePad Slider:

I lied. I am not pissed off. I am ecstatic about both products! And both of them are running my favorite Operating System: Android!

Now if I can only convince my wife I need to change phone and get another EeePad...

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer!

Yes! I was finally able to purchase the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer with the keyboard docking station:

And here's what it looked like inside the box:

It is running Android 3.0 Honeycomb, with a future upgrade to 3.1

Niceeeeeeeeee! Eat this iPad!

I could buy this at the PC Show in 1 1/2 weeks from now, but I just don't have time in the weekends to do so!
